When lowering a car on coilovers, proper wheel alignment is crucial. Factory rear suspension arms often do not provide enough adjustability, leading to excessive negative camber and improper toe settings. Replacing these arms is necessary to correct the geometry, especially on lowered Accords. However, in every single case, the factory suspension bolts are seized and must be cut out, which increases the labour cost. Without replacing them, proper alignment is impossible.
What’s Included?
• Labour for installation of all rear suspension components
• Cutting out seized suspension bolts (this is necessary in every Accord)
• Copper grease application to all bolts to prevent future seizure
• Preparation for wheel alignment (alignment required separately)
Customer Must Supply:
• 4x Toe Arms (adjustable recommended, Hardrace or equivalent)
• 2x Camber Arms (adjustable recommended, Hardrace or equivalent)
• 4x Non-Adjustable Rear Arms (Aftermarket, must be correct fitment)
• New bolts & hardware
No warranty on customer-supplied parts!
• Parts must be correct for your vehicle and in good condition.
• Hardrace or other high-quality brands are strongly recommended.
• If parts are incorrect or do not fit, the job cannot be completed, and the booking fee is non-refundable.
After replacing all rear arms a proper wheel alignment is required to ensure correct suspension setup
If needed, for an additional £100, I can take the car to a trusted alignment shop, however, I cannot guarantee immediate availability, as they require bookings at least a week in advance.
Without proper alignment, handling will be off, and excessive tyre wear is guaranteed.
Seized suspension bolts are a problem in every Accord. Cutting them out is always required, as I have never come across a set that could be removed normally. All new bolts are installed with copper grease, preventing this issue from happening again in the future. For bookings or more details, contact Gaijinz Garage
